Injilinji Youth Support Service’s staff members (Lillian Owens, Ben Fifita, Sarah Schraag and Hayley Iles) attended the Red Rose Foundation (Domestic and Family Violence) event that was hosted by AIDRWA and included Ngukuthati Children and Family Centre and Mount Isa City Council that was held at AIDRWA’s office at 72 Hilary Street, Pioneer.

Held at the IBIS Hotel, Mount Isa with Guest Speakers Valerie Craigie, Pattie Lees and Rochelle Courtenay. Welcome to Country by Valerie Dempsey (Kalkadoon descendant). Also attended by Injilinji Youth Support Service team members Terry Lees, Sue Siva, Kylie Haapakoski, Lillian Owens and Hayley Iles.

The NAIDOC 2023 Elders Luncheon was hosted at Injilinji Aged Care on Wednesday 5th July 2023 with Resident Elders and Injilinji Community Care clients invited to attend to celebrate NAIDOC, with the theme for this year – For Our Elders.

Injilinji has been staging the annual NAIDOC Cultural Trivia Quiz in Mount Isa since 2013. On Monday 3rd July 2023, some 14 teams, each consisting of 5 members, gathered for a night of fun where friends and family tested their knowledge on a variety of cultural subjects. Highlighting the theme 'For Our Elders', the 2023 event was the biggest to date.
