Injilinji Aged Care celebrates resident elder Aunty Dorrie turning 80

Much-loved and respected Resident Elder, Auntie Dorrie Prowse, celebrated her 80th Birthday with family, friends and the Residents of Injilinji Aged Care on 22nd July. The birthday celebrations were hosted at Injilinji Aged Care, with MC Deadly Jacob of MOB-fm.

Aunty Dorrie was born in the Boulia region and lived on stations most of her life, around cattle and horses. Her daughter, Leonie and grandchildren were there in force to help Auntie Dorrie celebrate a special milestone in her long and distinguished life.

Injilinji acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land and throughout Australia, and their connections to land, sea, and community.
