Injilinji Aged Care NAIDOC 2023 Elders Luncheon

The NAIDOC 2023 Elders Luncheon was hosted at Injilinji Aged Care on Wednesday 5^th July 2023 with Resident Elders and Injilinji Community Care clients invited to attend to celebrate NAIDOC, with the theme for this year – For Our Elders.

Mount Isa is one of the few communities in Australia that hosted an event each day of the NAIDOC Week Celebrations.

For 2023, the Injilinji Corporation hosted three special NAIDOC events, including the Elders Luncheon, Cultural Trivia Quiz and the annual March.

Injilinji acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land and throughout Australia, and their connections to land, sea, and community.

We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge their spiritual connection to Country.
